This issue shares a set of old house renovation cases. After the house is rented out and recycled, the owner hopes to transform it into a high-quality, functional, warm and comfortable self-occupied space. After communication, it was finally decided to adopt the modern cream style for the design, and create a healing and relaxing home atmosphere through the combination of soft warm tones.

Before retrofit

The original style of the house is old, the layout is poor, the arrangement of moving lines is unreasonable, and the natural lighting is poor, resulting in low space utilization rate.

Entrance

Exquisite and practical entrance space

There is a customized entrance cabinet on the right side of the entrance, leaving empty space in the middle for easy placement of keys and other small items, and a sensor light strip is embedded, which adds to the sense of ritual and warm atmosphere of going home.

Integration of diners and guests

Open and bright social areas

The overall color is cream as the main tone, with a design without main lamp, which is simple and beautiful. After the balcony is merged into the living room, abundant natural light is introduced, and the white gauze curtain makes the light softer. The floor is paved with tiles, and the space appears transparent and bright.

The living room is equipped with cream-colored cloud sofas, rocking chairs, milk-white irregular coffee tables and carpets, and decorated with decorative paintings and green plants, which makes the whole look fashionable and comfortable.

On the back of the sofa, a combined cabinet with log color and white is customized, and the open compartment is used to display collections such as figures and green plants. The cabinet extends to the restaurant area, has the function of a sideboard, and incorporates a water bar, coffee corner and embedded appliances to meet diverse living needs.

The TV background wall is shaped in gypsum board, with slot lights and light strips under the TV cabinet. The “L”-shaped suspended TV cabinet adopts a handle-free design and is opened by a rebounder, which is simple and convenient.

Kitchen

Beautiful and practical cooking world

Glass sliding doors are used in the kitchen to isolate lampblack, and a built-in refrigerator is built outside the door to save space. The interior features a classic black and white color scheme, and the “U” worktop makes full use of three walls for increased storage space. Both the hanging cabinet and the floor cabinet are designed without handles, which is simple, fashionable and has strong storage capacity.

Bedroom

A peaceful and comfortable place to rest

The master bedroom continues the cream tone, with a wooden floor and mattress, creating a casual and comfortable resting atmosphere.

When the warm sunshine shines into the bay window, the breeze gently brushes the cheek, leaning on the soft pillow to stretch the body, people become comfortable and relaxed, and life is full of romance and pleasure.

The space of the second bedroom is small, and the floor bed is customized. There is an invisible storage cabinet under the bed, and the steps are also designed as drawers, which double as shoe stools. The cabinet is customized against the wall at the head of the bed, and the open compartment in the middle can place commonly used items. An integrated semi-enclosed desk extends from the floor, which is equipped with a perforated board display rack, which is convenient for work, reading and storage.
