7-day adventure between two countries: walking with millions of animals on the grassland of Serengeti, looking at the last “King Kong” in the volcanic rainforest, one journey, two epics of life.

Fly to Serengeti on the first day and start a grassland safari

Fly to Kilimanjaro International Airport in Tanzania in the early morning, and we have arranged VIP express customs clearance service for you. After being picked up by a special person, transfer to a light plane and fly directly to the Serengeti grassland. In the afternoon, an exciting half-day safari began. You will witness with your own eyes how the herbivorous army composed of millions of antelopes, zebras and bison coexist and compete with top predators such as lions, cheetahs and hyenas on the same stage.

To ensure that you can witness the magnificence of wildlife migration at the best time and place (whether it is the birth season from January to March or the migration and river crossing season from June to December), our carefully selected wild luxury camps will adjust their locations according to the season.

Days 2 and 3 Full day safari in the Serengeti

For the next two full days, you will explore the “heart of Africa” of the Serengeti in depth. Every day at sunrise and home at sunset, with a special sunset cocktail hour in the evening. Every day’s story on the grassland is unpredictable-maybe it’s a thrilling hunting moment, maybe it’s a warm and touching parent-child nurturing, or the overwhelming shocking scene of the migrating army. Even the most experienced guide can’t predict it, but the only certainty is that what you see and hear every day will be unique and unforgettable.

Day 4 Flying to Kigali, Rwanda, history and reflection

In the early morning, take a light plane across the border and go directly to Kigali, the capital of Rwanda, known as the “Land of Thousand Hills”. Also enjoy VIP quick customs clearance courtesy, and a special car will pick you up to the restaurant for lunch.

In the afternoon, we will visitRwanda Genocide Memorial。 Here is a record of the painful history of 1994. In just over a hundred days, about 500,000 to 800,000 Tutsis were killed, and at that time, three-quarters of Rwanda’s Tutsi population was purged. This is a necessary and profound reflection on peace and life.

Then, take about 2.5 hours by car to the boutique wild luxury hotel adjacent to Volcano National Park. The hotel has only 8 elegant rooms with a welcoming fireplace sitting area and a viewing terrace with magnificent views of the Virunga Volcano.

Day 5: Tracking the endangered “giant”-mountain gorilla

Today’s highlight is going deepRwanda Volcanoes National Park, tracking one of the rarest animals on earth-Mountain gorilla。 Nestled in the magnificent Virunga Mountains, between 2,400 and 4,500 meters above sea level, the park is the main home of these gentle “giants”.

Mountain gorillas are the largest primates in existence. There are only more than 1,000 wild animals in the world, of which more than 600 live in this volcanic group. There are 12 families that are used to contact with people in the park. Each family consists of at least one majestic “silverback” gorilla leader, several females and lovely cubs.

In order to protect them, the park is strictly limited to 96 tracking permits per day. Of what you pay, 10% goes directly back to the local community to build schools, hospitals and roads. This model promotes the harmonious coexistence between gorillas and villagers. Return to the hotel in the afternoon and relax in the volcanic views.

Day 6 Looking for the “Golden Retriever Elf”-Golden Green Long-tailed Monkey

Today we are going to find another rare aboriginal in the Virunga Mountains-Golden green long-tailed monkey。 This primate with golden hair and long tail is also endangered. There are only about 5,000 primates in the world, and they only live in this volcanic area. There are currently two monkey colonies living in the park, the larger one with about 80-100 members. Watching them jump agilely in the forest is another interesting experience.

The afternoon is still your leisure time, and you can enjoy a quiet mountain life in the hotel.
