Days 3-4 Go deep into the tower and visit tribes and rainforests
Until the beginning of this century, the life of villagers in Tali area was almost the same as that of a thousand years ago. However, in the past three decades, the discovery of natural gas and mineral resources has driven international capital and economic activity, dragging Tali into the modern industrial age in just a few years. Deep-rooted social structures, tribal traditions and ancestral beliefs are rapidly being forgotten and replaced by the pursuit of economic gain.

Today, the Huli tribe is one of the few local communities that still stick to their traditional beliefs. Here, a man’s wealth and status are still measured by the number of pigs, land and wives he owns. Guided by the most experienced guides, we will go deep into the village to observe and understand the details of daily life and deep ethnic beliefs of the Huli people up close.

In addition to its rich anthropological heritage, the virgin rainforest in Tali is also the top bird watching shrine in the world. At present, 217 species of birds have been recorded, including 13 rare birds of paradise. Accompanied by a professional birding guide, we will hike across vine-wrapped suspension bridges and follow crystal clear mountain streams, eventually arriving at isolated waterfalls. There are layers of green shade along the way, and rare orchids and alpine rhododendrons can be seen from time to time.
